Louie Schmidt, It was either Rispoli or Franco, myself were on Campus Shop Means Wear's Team. We had lost every game. Ladmos Team had won all their games. Ladmos Team was making fun of us. Really ticked me off. We all played against them hard. Louie was pitching a good game, I was playing Field, because I could get the Ball to the Catcher regular. The Last Inning and we had last Bats we were Tied Up. I got a Base Hit, then I Stole Second, then I Stole Third. I don't know what happened, except Coach yelling at me Go! Go! I did not Slide In. I threw my whole body at everone at the Home Plate. We all went down Batter, Umpire, Catcher. They all landed on top of me. Ladmos Catcher dropped the Ball. I have kept the 'News Paper Clipping' all these years. Ladmo did not look at me very happy. And you guys carried me off the Field that Day.

Sounds like a high moment in your baseball career, Louis.  Glad you saved the clipping for some fond memories.  My dad actually played golf with Ladmo regularly in later years.
Great picture of you and Cisco too!  WOW!  You two have lots of hair, and look great.  Was Cisco's dinner in that bucket?  I'll bet that's how you got him to pose.

Ladmo and his family, the Kwiatkowskis, lived over on 16th or 17th street west of the high school and his son graduated the year after us, I think.

I won a red and white Duncan yoyo on the show!  Remember Hubcap and the Wheels?

Diane you guys look good to, and your Dad Playing Golf with Ladmo was an exciting experience for him, probably very enjoyable.

Larry, Hub Cap and the Wheels to much, this was fun stuff you guys. Remember Hub Cap and the Wheels played the Steve Allen Show.

Did you know in about 2005 or so, Pat MacMahon ran all the shows on AZTV and I emailed him how bad I wanted a Ladmo Bag.

I won my first Ladmo Bag and Autographed picture of Wallace Ladmo and Gerald.

And 'Little Willy Sunshine' from KRIZ morphed into 'William Edward Compton' (wish this program would do italics -- they're needed for doing his name right) on KDKB.  Toad Hall.  Oooooh!  Now that was fun.  I still remember hearing 'All Along the Watchtower' for the first time on FM radio.

Larry what a good memorie. I used to listen to KRIZ to, with a Transistor Radio. Then when there was that big change to FM Stereo I had to find FM stuff. I did not know about Compton and KDKB. I was in Tempe when KDKB first started. The underground station-oooooooooooooo!!!!!

William Edward Compton

It was KRUX, not KRIZ, where he started, and KDKB started out as KCAC.  Compton wound up driving his MG into one of those really deep ditches around 48th and Thomas.

Larry,
Ladmo's  son Kim graduated the next year with Ken Mason
and Roger Kromberg and many others. I played for Joe Sella in
D league, then Tolivers in C-league. Our C-league team won
the Title!!! Cool. Our coach was Conrad Betti's (sp) grandfather.
Ladmo's last name is Kwiatkowski, probably polish.

Maybe he was old man Coke. Ladmos Son and some friends built a Fort in the Hay Stack. They accidently caught the Hay Stack on fire. They ran leaving their bikes behind. Ladmo spent that day thinking his son had died before his son showed back up. That hay burned a week or so on Priest Rd.
