Reading all the messages brings back memories of a much more carefree fun age. We sure thought we had everything figured out back then, now I've watched my own kids go thru HS and nothing really changes, neither generation has a clue!  Big challenges in our day were which movie to see and where to eat afterward( VI, UDI,CoCo's, Big Apple) Lots of fun. Anybody know the whereabouts of Eddy 'Cuz' Combs? Last I heard he was a Pastor.

Haven't found Eddie, yet.  He was a pastor at the 20th.  I think Diane Grant found a number and left a message, but no response so far.  If anyone else has info, let us know.

One of the differences between then and now is that you could down a Whataburger or two and it wouldn't phase you.  But now, you automatically gain five pounds, and feel all kinds of guilt.

Jerry:  You are so right about absolutly not having a clue.  I was 'totally clueless' in high school and college.  It has taken me a long time to realize that I still do not have a clue. Oh, maybe one or two.

Hey, do you remember when I was speeding down Kyrene round and hit my brakes to avoid hitting your cat and wound up in you front yard?  Unfortunately I did not miss the cat.  I remember your whole family running out and we all stood aroung looking at the poor pregnant cat.  She died.  I was so embarrassed.

Hey Jerry,
Glad you showed up.  Think I saw you on TV something about Civil Air Patrol.  Glad you and Christy are doing well.  We all had a lot of fun in High School.  Really looking forward to reunion.  Ted and I sold the farm in Roll and have been living in Queen Creek since 2003.

Good to hear from you. Yeah that was me on TV,  you know what they say 'fools names and fools faces always appear in public places'. I heard you and Ted had joined the ranks of' smart' farmers, but I didnt know where you settled. I run into your brother-inlaw Dan once in a while out in the cotton fields. Glad to see you're planning to come to the reunion, it will be good to visit again.

My middle school students think they have it all down. I tell them...'I may have had a clue for about in hour in about March of 1985, but I could be mistaken. '

Jerry:  If your dairy was like our dairy, we had more barn cats than we could count.  I am sure 'Fluffy' was special.  I will always remember her.  You are a freak. I hope animal lovers do not take offense.  I love animals, too, and would never harm one intentionally.  I have since rescued many kittens and cats.

Jorge,
I can't think of a better match than you and middle school P.E. in Hawaii.  I bet the kids adore you.  I have no doubt that you are always having a wonderful time. Jorge, you always had your own party going on.  The challenge was learning to speak the right language to join it.

That's very funny, Gail.  It's call Jorgian in case he didn't tell you. Thanks for the memories, Jorge.

Peter,
Was there a textbook for that?  How did you learn?  You were probably part of the elite group chosen for the private classes.

Jerry, I often wonder if the terms middle schoolers and minds have any business being in the same sentence. I'm at Rim Country Middle School in Payson. Been here for about 1000 yrs.Love it.

I would like to add that Ned Schall is one of the most respected and admired teacher here in Payson. He does a remarkable job with the kids.

WE are lucky to have him here.
