Mr Nosibe
San Luis with Mrs DeVinny and Mrs Parr
Ditching school with Linda McDonald to go shopping for the dance!  It was her idea!
Taking my Mom's car out when we were freshman to go to circle K...again Linda's idea, I was just her puppet :)
6 senior cheerleaders
Slumber party at Denise Petty's house and sneaking out to Daly Park to visit the boys!
Ditching school the last day of Junior year and being demoted to JV cheer for the first game of senior year....so humiliating!

Hey Paulette,
I do not remember tying you up and making you do things, I am pretty sure it was your idea anyway!!!!  We did have allot of fun, lucky we never got caught!!!  I wonder sometimes what we were thinking.  remember when we made the dog food sandwiches for I think mike vile and mike roach?  we laughed so hard we were rolling on the ground.  We also rigged the clothes line so they would fall down, what was that all about??  You were very onery!!!!!  But i love you anyway, ha ha ha

Hi Linda and Paulette,
You guys are still funny.  Your memories are really good, too.  My memories of high school are mostly very vague.  I can’t really remember any of my teachers and very little about my classes. That’s great that you and a lot of other people remember so much.  I wish I did.

I do remember my slumber party, although I was asleep in bed after drinking too much (one of my first experiences with alcohol that my mother never found out about) when the cops came, and when my mom packed everyone up in the car and took them home in the middle of the night after they kept calling the police station to find out if any boys were arrested!

Some other random things I remember...

Toilet papering houses and Jim Goullaud’s dad chasing us in his underwear.

Going to lunch at the Dairy Queen, hanging out at the burger place across the street from the school, or cruising through the Jack in the Box

Going to the drive-in theater.  I remember sneaking someone in in the trunk once, and going with Mary Lou Schermann and her brothers in the back of Kenny Campoy’s pick up truck.

Poolhopping.  There was an apartment pool on College Ave we snuck into more than once.

Teen Canteen at the gym in the summers.

This website has been a lot of fun.  Thanks to you guys and the other committee members for getting all of this together.

Sure about the sleeping part or the alcohol part?  I think I'm sure about both, but you never know.  I said my memories were vague!

Denise,

My sincerest apologies.  Your were a perfect lady.  It was just an old time beer drinking experience and nothing more.

Bill

I remember more than you do.

Hi Denise!
Fun reading about all of your memories!  I remember your slumber party, and when your mother was going to take us home after the cops came.  But a bunch of us girls didn't think being taken home in the middle of the night would look too good to our parents, so Laurie Grosman volunteered her home for refuge.  We slept on her living room floor until morning.

I also remember the toilet papering of Jim Goullard's home. When his Dad ran out yelling, and chasing us in his boxer shorts, I was terrified--he was a very scary guy!

I also remember one of those pool hopping incidents on College Ave.  Very fun.

Teen Canteen was always great fun during the summer.

Hey Genie!
I didn't remember about all of the girls going to Laurie Grossman's house.  I'm glad you all avoided angry parents.

Hi Denise and Linda.  I love you guys!  We had a lot of fun in high school and it is good to reminisce.  Denise that photo of you in Italy is lovely.  You haven't changed at all.  My memory isn't very good either so I can really relate.  Linda you could make me do things and make me laugh harder than just about anyone I've ever known.  All this makes me think that we girls need to have a slumber party again.  Wouldn't that be a kick.  Remember baby doll pajamas?

Hi Denise, Paulette, and Genie,
I too remember the slumber party at your house, Denise.  Didn't we walk to Lauie Grossman's in the middle of the night?  I was so scared and believed Mrs. Grossman saved our lives.  My parents would have killed me if they had known.
Also remember Mrs. DeVinny and the construction Mr. Nosibe. Larry thinks he's found her and is inviting her to the reunion!
'Flasher' during PE with Miss McManus during archery, and talking to the police about it, but not really seeing anything. Darn.
Teen canteen in the summer and endless summer school classes.
Mr. Hitt and the goiter in his neck.
So glad to see all the pictures and banter back and forth of those years so long ago.  It really is fun reconnecting.

I forgot that we walked to Laurie's house. That actually would have been a fairly long walk.  Seems like she lived in the southern part of Tempe.

Diane, you and I were asked to go to the assistant principal's office to talk to the police concerning the flasher in P.E. on the field.  You're right, neither of us actually saw 'anything'. I was pulled out of English, which was the only time I was pulled out of any class, especially to go to the principal's office.  I was so worried that I did something wrong, or at least got caught for something.

Hi Paulette, Genie, and Diane, (and Linda are you still there?)

It's great to read all of your comments.  None of you have changed at all.  You're still the same fun girls I knew in high school.

Genie and Diane, I'm sorry you had to walk to Laurie's house!  My mom must have been pretty mad to let you do that.

Paulette, another slumber party sounds like a great idea, but I can see it now.  'Come on guys, let's see if we can stay up past 10:00!'  Do you remember how it was never a good idea to be the first one asleep at a slumber party, because you would be guaranteed to have some sort of prank pulled on you?

I've really enjoyed looking at everyone's pictures.  Paulette and Diane, you both look great, and Diane, your grandchildren are very sweet.  Linda and Genie, where are your pictures?

Hey Girls,
i am still here.  I need to get some pictures posted just have not gotten that far.  This web-site has been so much fun.

A slumber party would be a kick!!  We could do it at my house if you would like.  Maybe get a date together and we can plan it.  I have 4 extra bedrooms since the boys are all married, not that we plan to go to bed!! yeah right.

Hey genie, how are you?

Denise did you get my email?  I send it to your personal email.
