On Thursdays, I always got a big hamburger, baked potato and salad for $1.25 (?).

Kelly Moeur loved all the girls who worked there.

If you liked to have essence of hamburger oozing out of your pores, and thought that $1.10 and hour was good pay, the beefhouse was the place for you.  I did learn my leadership skills there though.  I was the guy (we called him the middle man) in charge of turning over the garlic bread, and buttering the potatoes.  If there had been someone below me I would have been able to boss him around.

We worked there together, Kelly, along with my brother.  I waited tables after HS, split shift, while at ASU.  Spent all my tips on clothes, and put my minimun wage paycheck in the bank accross the street.  Most money I've ever had to just 'blow' in my life.
