Time claims another - Sal Pizzo

Just heard yesterday one of my longest friends from Tempe High, and before,  has died in his home in Globe, AZ.
Will provide further information here when I get some.
I knew him for many years as 'Sandy', but had gone by Sal as an adult.
He hadn't gone to many reunions, but he did attend this last one.
As so many here sadly discover, heartbroken is far too weak a word to describe the feelings I'm having.

Seems Sal's family has decided to just have a private ceremony.  They've said they'll be posting an obituary soon.  I'm aware of plans by some of his musician friends to have a party/celebration/music event at the end of summer at a private property near Payson in his honor.  Once I have that information, I'll post it right here and on my Facebook feed.  Anyone who wants any further info. I might have, feel free to email me.
